7 Layer Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium head lettuce, shredded
    1/2 c. celery, sliced
    1 can water chestnuts, sliced
    1 pkg. frozen petite peas
    2 c. mayonnaise (to seal)
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
    1 Tbsp. seasoned salt
    1/4 tsp. garlic powder
    6 pieces crumbled bacon or bacon bits
Preparation
    Layer the first 5 ingredients.
    Sprinkle with sugar, cheese, salt and garlic powder.
    Just before serving, add bacon or bacon bits.
    Cover with plastic wrap.
    Can be made the day before needed.
