Ingredients

3/4 to 1 c. sweetened, flaked coconut
4 scoops vanilla ice cream
1/4 c. chopped pecans
3 to 4 maraschino cherries, cut into sixths (optional)
4 to 6 Tbsp. Anisette liqueur
Preparation

Spread coconut in a large shallow pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 7 to 8 minutes, until golden brown.
Turn into a small pie pan. Cool.
