Peanut Butter Crisscrosses - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 eggs, beaten
    1 c. peanut butter
    3 c. sifted enriched flour
    2 tsp. baking soda
    dash of salt
Preparation
    Preheat
    oven
    to
    375\u00b0.
    Thoroughly
    cream shortening, sugars and
    vanilla.
    Add\teggs and beat well.
    Stir in peanut butter. Sift
    dry
    ingredients and stir into creamed mixture. Form\tinto tiny
    balls
    and
    place on ungreased cookie sheet. Press with back of fork to make crisscross.
    Dough may also be rolled and cut, if desired.
    Bake 10 minutes.\tMakes 8 dozen.
