Mincemeat Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1/2 c. lard
2 tsp. soda
1 egg
1 c. mincemeat
1/2 c. raisins
1 c. sour milk
2 c. flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. cloves

Preparation

If you want to frost cake before baking, whip one white of egg stiff.
Add 1/2 cup brown sugar.
Turn over cake and bake.
