Ingredients

1/2 lb. (2 c.) pecan halves
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. water
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
3/4 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation

Heat nuts in oven at 250\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
Cook sugar, water, salt and spices to soft ball stage.
Do not stir.
Add vanilla. Stir in nuts until creamy and thoroughly coated.
Pour on waxed paper.
Separate nuts as they cool.
