Fruit And Nut Pies(Christmas Pie) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 can sweet, pitted cherries, drained
1 small can crushed pineapple with juice
1 1/4 c. sugar
1/4 c. flour
1 (3 oz.) pkg. orange jello
4 large, sliced bananas
1 c. broken pecans or walnuts
2 baked pie shells
whipped cream or Cool Whip
Preparation

Combine cherries and pineapple in a saucepan.
Add sugar and flour.
Cook until thickened.
Sprinkle orange jello over mixture and stir until dissolved.
Cool mixture slightly.
Add bananas and pecans or walnuts.
Pour into the pie shells.
Refrigerate for several hours.
Serve with whipped cream or Cool Whip.
