Light Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. yeast
    1/2 c. lukewarm water
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 egg
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. boiling water
    1 c. cold water
    6 c. flour (plain)
Preparation
    Dissolve yeast in 1/2 cup lukewarm water.
    Put sugar, shortening and salt in container you are making rolls in.
    Add 1 cup boiling water to mixture.
    Stir until dissolved.
    Add 1 cup cold water.
    Stir in yeast mixture.
    Beat egg and add to mixture. Add flour, 1 cup at a time, stirring.
    Cover and refrigerate.
