Golden Medley Orange Candied Yams - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. butter or margarine
1/2 c. toasted blanched almonds
2/3 c. firmly packed light brown sugar
1 c. orange juice
3 (1 lb.) cans yams, drained
1 tsp. salt
1 orange, peeled and sectioned
Preparation

In saucepan, melt butter or margarine.
Add almonds, brown sugar and orange juice; simmer, stirring occasionally, for 5 minutes.
Add yams; sprinkle with salt.
Simmer 10 to 15 minutes, spooning sauce over frequently.
Garnish with orange sections. Makes about 8 to 10 servings.
