Red Velvet Cocoa Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 eggs
    1 Tbsp. red food color
    2 c. unsifted flour
    1/4 c. Hershey's cocoa
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. buttermilk or sour milk
    1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1 Tbsp. vinegar
    Fluffy Vanilla frosting
Preparation
    Cream butter, sugar and vanilla in a large mixer bowl.
    Add eggs and food color; blend.
    Combine flour, cocoa and salt; add alternately with buttermilk to creamed mixture.
    Stir baking soda into vinegar; fold carefully into batter (do not beat).
    Pour into 2 greased and floured 9-inch pans.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes or until cake tester inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes.
    Remove from pans.
