Nanny'S Gingersnaps - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. shortening
    1 c. white sugar
    1 beaten egg
    2 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. ginger
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    3/4 c. molasses
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar.
    Add egg and remaining ingredients. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto a greased cookie sheet.
    Wet bottom of glass and flatten cookies.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 or 15 minutes or less.
