Frosted Oatmeal Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 stick butter or margarine, softened
1 c. oats
1 1/2 c. boiling water
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
2 unbeaten eggs
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
-
Combine butter, oats and boiling water in large mixing bowl. Let stand 20 minutes.
Add brown sugar, white sugar and 2 unbeaten eggs.
Mix well.
