Peter Paul Mound Cake - cooking recipe

1 c. Crisco
2 c. sugar
5 eggs
1 c. self-rising flour
1 c. plain flour
1 c. milk
2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Cream Crisco; add sugar and beat until fluffy.
Add whole eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Add vanilla to milk; sift flour together and add part of the flour mixture.
Add milk and then remaining flour to batter.
Beat until smooth and thoroughly mixed, but do not overbeat.
Pour batter into 3 greased and lightly floured cake pans.
Bake 25 to 30 minutes in preheated 350\u00b0 oven.
