Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter (not oleo)
    1 c. sugar
    3 eggs, slightly beaten
    3/4 c. dark corn syrup
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. pecans, chopped
Preparation
    Cream
    butter;
    add
    sugar gradually and cream together until light
    and fluffy.
    Add remaining ingredients and blend well. Pour
    into pastry shell.
    Bake on lower shelf in moderate oven (375\u00b0) for 40 to 45 minutes.
