Violet Jelly - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    violets
    boiling water
    1 lemon
    1 pkg. Sure-Jell
    4 c. sugar
Preparation
    Fill any size glass jar with violet blossoms.
    Cover with boiling water.
    Put lid on jar and let blossoms infuse for 24 hours.
    The next day, open the jar and strain the blue infusion, discarding the spent violets.
    Measure out 2 cups of the infusion and add the juice of 1 lemon and 1 package of Sure-Jell.
    Bring just to a boil and immediately add sugar.
    Bring back to a boil and boil hard for 1 minute.
    Pour into hot sterilized jars or glasses and seal.
