The Best Snickerdoodles - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. soft shortening
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 3/4 c. sifted flour
2 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. sugar
2 tsp. cinnamon

Preparation

Preheat oven to 400\u00b0.
Mix together thoroughly the shortening, sugar and eggs.
Sift together the next 4 ingredients and stir into creamed mixture.
Chill dough.
