Ingredients

5 eggs, separated
2 c. sugar
3 c. milk
2 c. coconut
2 deep pie crusts or 3 shallow pie crusts
Preparation

Do not use electric mixer.
Use hand wire whisk.
Slightly beat egg yolks; stir in 1 cup milk.
Then stir in remaining milk, sugar and coconut.
Beat egg whites and stir in mixture.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes or until centers jell.
