Scotch Shortbread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. confectioners sugar
Preparation

Sift flour, measure, add salt and sift again.
Cream butter, gradually add confectioners sugar and beat until light.
Combine dry ingredients and creamed mixture.
Blend thoroughly.
Put dough in 8 x 8-inch pan and bake at 325\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes.
Cut in squares before completely cool.
