Grandma Straub'S Chili Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    20 medium tomatoes, peeled
    4 large green peppers
    3 to 4 hot peppers (Italian style)
    1 lb. dark brown sugar
    1 Tbsp. dry mustard
    1/4 c. cider vinegar
    1 tsp. allspice
    1 tsp. cloves
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    5 medium onions
    salt to taste
Preparation
    Grind peppers and onions.
    Mash tomatoes to chunky.
    Add all other ingredients to mix.
    Cook slowly until thickens, stirring occasionally to prevent burning, about 3 to 4 hours.
