Budget Shrimp Creole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 medium green peppers, finely chopped
1 c. celery, finely chopped
1 1/2 c. onions, finely chopped
1 large clove garlic, minced
1/4 c. margarine
1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 c. water
2 tsp. parsley
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. red pepper
2 bay leaves
6 oz. pkg. frozen miniature shrimp
4 c. hot cooked rice
Preparation

Saute first 4 ingredients in oleo.
Remove from heat, stir in tomato sauce, water and seasonings.
Simmer 10 minutes.
Stir in shrimp.
Heat to boiling.
Cover and cook 15 minutes.
Serve over hot rice.
Serves 6.
