Ribbon Jello Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 (3 oz.) pkg. jello (different colors)
    1 (16 oz.) carton sour cream
Preparation
    Dissolve 1 package jello in 1 cup boiling water.
    Add 4 tablespoons cold water.
    Set aside 1/2 cup of mixture.
    Put in 1/3 cup sour cream.
    Pour remaining in a 9 x 12-inch glass pan.
    Set until firm, at least 1/2 hour.
    Pour on sour cream mixture; set 1/2 hour.
