Sausage And Salsa Skillet Dinner - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. smoked sausage or kielbasa
    1 c. enriched rice
    1 can (14 1/2 oz.) stewed tomatoes
    1 c. water
    2/3 c. thick and chunky salsa
    1 can (8 oz.) dark red kidney beans, rinsed and drained
Preparation
    Cut sausage in half lengthwise, cut crosswise into 1/4-inch slices.
    In 10-inch skillet, combine rice, sausage, tomatoes, water, salsa and beans.
    Mix well, breaking tomatoes with large spoon.
    Bring to boil, reduce heat, cover and simmer 20 minutes. Remove from heat, let stand, covered, about 5 minutes.
    Makes 4 servings.
