Sweet Potato Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 medium potatoes
4 eggs
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. white sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
dash of salt
2 c. canned milk
1/4 tsp. allspice
1/8 tsp. nutmeg
1/8 tsp. cinnamon
2 pie shells
Preparation

Boil potatoes, peel and mash while hot.
Add butter, beat eggs with half of sugar.
Add to potatoes and butter mixture.
Add milk and rest of sugar.
Mix in spices (should be creamy).
Pour into pie shells, bake in oven at 350\u00b0 for one hour or until custard is set and a toothpick comes out clean.
Makes 2 (9-inch) pies.
