Turtle Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box German chocolate cake mix
    1/2 can evaporated milk
    1 (12 oz.) bag Kraft caramels
    1 (12 oz.) bag chocolate chips
Preparation
    Prepare cake mix according to box instructions.
    Generously grease a 9 x 13-inch baking pan.
    Pour 1/2 of cake batter into the pan.
    Bake for 10 minutes at temperature recommended on box instructions.
    While cake is baking, melt caramels in saucepan with the can of milk.
    Remove cake from oven; pour caramel mixture over hot cake.
    Sprinkle chocolate chips on top of caramel.
    Pour remaining batter evenly over the top.
    Bake for 25 minutes, or until top layer is done.
    Let cool completely; cut into squares. Makes between 30 to 36 squares.
