Congo Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/4 c. brown sugar
    3 eggs
    2/3 c. shortening
    2/3 c. flour
    2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    12 oz. chocolate chips
    1 c. nuts
Preparation
    Cream sugar, shortening and eggs.
    Add baking powder, salt and flour.
    Stir in chips and nuts.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes in a 10 x 14-inch pan.
