Potato Leek Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 or 3 leeks
    8 medium potatoes
    1 stick butter or margarine
    2 or 3 cloves garlic, crushed
    salt and pepper to taste
    dill weed
Preparation
    Use white part of leeks, clean and chop with garlic in blender or food processor.
    Saute in butter or margarine until leeks are softened.
    Add peeled, diced potatoes to leeks and garlic; mix to blend together.
    Add water to cover ingredients and cook until leeks and potatoes are tender.
    Add salt, pepper and dill.
    If you care to, you can add milk, sweet cream or evaporated milk.
