Kente Cloth Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. white cake mix (2 layer size)
    1 small pkg. Jell-O gelatin (your favorite flavor)
    1 1/2 c. boiling water
    1 (4 oz.) tub Cool Whip, thawed
Preparation
    Prepare cake according to directions on package and bake in a 13 x 9-inch cake pan.
    Cool cake 15 minutes in pan.
    Remove from pan and let cool completely on a rack.
    Wash and dry cake pan. Return cake back to pan, placing top up.
    Pierce cake with a large fork at 1/2-inch intervals.
