Italian Torta - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. plus 1/3 c. hot milk
    3/4 loaf Italian sliced bread, broken in pieces
    3 eggs
    1 c. sugar
    4 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. raisins
    1 medium apple, grated
    3 Tbsp. brandy
Preparation
    Soak bread in hot milk.
    Set aside.
    Beat together eggs and sugar.
    Add to soaked bread/milk mixture.
    Add vanilla, raisins and grated apple.
    Add brandy last.
    Bake in well-greased pan at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
