Cheesy Hamburger Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. macaroni, uncooked
    1/2 lb. ground meat, beef or veal
    1/2 small onion, chopped
    3/4 c. tomato sauce or chopped tomatoes
    1/2 (10 oz.) can Cheddar cheese soup
Preparation
    Cook macaroni until slightly tender.
    Drain.
    Set aside. Brown meat and onions in small skillet.
    Add tomatoes and simmer for 10 minutes.
    Oil a 1-quart casserole dish; spoon in 1/3 of meat mixture.
    Add cooked macaroni and then add remaining meat. Spread cheese soup over all (may be frozen uncooked).
    Cover the casserole tightly; bake at 400\u00b0 until bubbly.
    Makes 4 servings.
