Quiche Lorraine - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 pie crust
12 slices bacon, crisply fried and crumbled
1 c. shredded natural Swiss cheese
1/3 c. minced onion
4 eggs
2 c. light cream or whipping cream
3/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. sugar
1/8 tsp. cayenne red pepper
Preparation

Heat oven to 425\u00b0.
Prepare pastry for 9-inch crust.
Sprinkle bacon, cheese and onion in pastry-lined pie pan.
Blend remaining ingredients with mixer.
Pour into pie pan.
Bake 15 minutes. Reduce oven temperature to 300\u00b0.
Bake pie 30 minutes longer or until knife inserted 1 inch from edge comes out clean.
Let pie stand 10 minutes before cutting.
Serve in wedges.
