Beef Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. oil
    3 c. mixed vegetables
    12 oz. cubed beef (lean)
    5 c. water
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Brown beef cubes in oil.
    Add water, salt and pepper for seasonings.
    Simmer slowly until meat is tender.
    Add vegetables and cook 30 minutes or until vegetables are done.
    Yield: 6 servings.
    Carbohydrate 7 g, protein 11 g, fat 12 g, calories 180. One serving = 1 1/2 meat medium fat exchange, 1 vegetable exchange, 1 fat exchange.
