Mexican Lasagna - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. ground meat (beef, turkey, chicken, venison)
    1 medium onion, chopped
    4 oz. chopped chilies
    1 pkg. taco seasoning mix
    16 oz. shredded Cheddar cheese
    2 (16 oz.) jars salsa (1 mild and 1 medium)
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. large flour tortillas
Preparation
    Cook meat and onion until brown; drain fat.
    Add taco seasoning mix to meat mixture.
    Add chilies.
    Cut tortillas into thirds.
    In a 9 x 13-inch pan, layer salsa, meat, cheese and tortillas in that order.
    End with layer of tortillas topped with cheese.
    Cover with foil and bake for 35 minutes at 350\u00b0.
