Cioppino - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. fresh or frozen fish fillets
    3/4 c. chopped green onion
    1/2 c. chopped onions
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1 Tbsp. cooking oil
    1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes, cut up
    1 (16 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1/2 c. red wine
    3 Tbsp. snipped parsley
    1/4 tsp. oregano
    1/4 tsp. basil
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1 (6 1/2 oz.) can minced clams
    1 (4 1/2 oz.) can shrimp, rinsed and drained
    dash of black pepper
Preparation
    Thaw fish if frozen.
    Cut fish into 1-inch pieces.
    In a large saucepan, cook green onion, onion and garlic in hot oil until tender.
    Add tomatoes, tomato sauce, wine, parsley, oregano, basil, salt and pepper.
    Bring to boiling, then reduce heat. Cover and simmer 20 minutes.
    Add fish, shrimp and undrained clams.
    Bring just to boiling, then reduce heat.
    Cover and simmer 5 to 7 minutes or until fish flakes easily with a fork.
    This stew is delicious on its own or over rice.
    Serve with salad and warm bread.
