Creamy Rice Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. milk
    1 c. rice (uncooked)
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
    4 egg yolks, beaten
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. half and half
    1 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation
    Combine the first 4 ingredients in a medium saucepan.
    Cover and cook over very low heat for about 30 minutes or until rice is tender and milk is absorbed.
    Stir mixture occasionally.
    Combine remaining ingredients in a small bowl.
    Gradually stir about 1/4 of hot rice mixture into egg mixture.
    Add remaining egg mixture to remaining rice.
    Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until mixture comes to a boil.
    Remove from heat.
    Serve warm or cold with fruit or raisins.
