Beef Stroganoff - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 Tbsp. pure vegetable oil
    1 large chopped onion
    1 c. water
    2 lb. round steak
    2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
    1 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1/2 pt. (1 c.) sour cream
    1/4 lb. or 1 (4 oz.) can sliced mushrooms
Preparation
    Brown round steak (cut into thin slices) in hot oil.
    Remove meat.
    Cook onion and mushrooms until golden.
    Stir remaining ingredients except sour cream.
    Return meat to pan.
    Simmer about 1 hour, or until tender.
    Gradually stir in sour cream.
    Heat to almost boiling.
    Serve over wild rice or noodles.
    Serves 6.
