Granny'S Beef Stroganoff - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 lb. sirloin steak, cubed
2 c. sliced fresh mushrooms (can substitute canned)
1 c. finely chopped onions
1/4 c. butter
3 beef bouillon cubes
1 c. boiling water
2 Tbsp. tomato paste
1 tsp. dry mustard
1/2 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. flour
1/2 c. water
1/2 c. sour cream
4 c. cooked rice
Preparation

Saute mushrooms and onions in 3 tablespoons butter until brown.
Remove mushrooms, etc.
Add 1 tablespoon of butter to pan. Brown meat. Dissolve bouillon cubes in water; pour over meat. Add tomato paste, mustard and salt. Cover and simmer 45 minutes until tender. Combine flour and water.
Slowly stir into meat mixture. Cook, stirring constantly, until mixture comes to a boil.
Reduce heat. Add mushrooms, onions and sour cream.
Heat, but don't boil. Serve over rice.
