Best-Ever Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    1 1/2 tsp. soda
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple (use juice)
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients and beat for 1 minute by hand.
    Bake in greased, but not floured, 9 x 13 x 2-inch pan at 300\u00b0 for 40 to 45 minutes.
    Let cool.
    Chop 1 large jar maraschino cherries (drained) and put on top of cake.
