Party Punch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. sparkling wine or champagne
    2 1/2 pt. frozen strawberries, thawed
    1 1/2 qt. Rose wine, white Zinfandel or a mixture of red and white wine
    6 oz. can lemonade (undiluted)
    1 qt. ginger ale
Preparation
    In a large punch bowl, pour sparkling wine or champagne over thawed strawberries.
    Allow mixture to stand at room temperature for 2 to 3 hours.
    Stir in the wine and lemonade and dilute with ginger ale and ice cubes as desired.
