Self-Filled Cupcakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box cake mix (chocolate, pudding recipe)
    1 (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened
    1/3 c. sugar
    dash of salt
    1 egg
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate pieces
Preparation
    Mix cake mix according to directions on package.
    Fill cupcake pans 2/3 full.
    Cream the cheese with sugar, salt and egg; stir in chocolate pieces.
    Drop one rounded teaspoon cheese mixture into each cupcake.
    Bake as package directs.
    When cool, frost with any white buttercream frosting.
    Makes 30 cupcakes.
    These cupcakes freeze well.
