Cake Donuts - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 Tbsp. butter
1 c. cold mashed potatoes
1 1/2 c. sugar
3 beaten eggs
1 c. milk
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. vanilla
3 heaping tsp. baking powder
3 c. flour
Preparation

Cream butter, potatoes and sugar.
Add eggs, milk, nutmeg and vanilla.
Sift baking powder with flour.
Stir in mixture and add more flour to make a soft dough.
Roll 1/4-inch thick; cut and deep-fry.
Drain on paper towels.
Roll in confectioners sugar.
