Country Bread Pudding With Custard Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 Tbsp. butter, melted
    1 loaf French or Italian bread
    4 c. whole milk
    4 eggs
    2 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. vanilla extract
    1 c. raisins
Preparation
    Heat oven to 325\u00b0.
    Pour melted butter into approximately an 8-cup baking pan and refrigerate.
    Place the bread sliced into a large bowl and pour the milk over them, tossing to let the bread absorb most of the milk.
    Tear sliced bread into pieces.
