Golden Cheese Grits - cooking recipe

1 1/4 c. uncooked grits
3 1/2 c. boiling water
1 roll garlic cheese or bacon-flavored cheese
1/2 c. butter (1 stick)
2 eggs
1 c milk
1/3 to 1/2 c. Cheddar cheese, grated
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Grease 2-quart casserole.
Cook grits in boiling water.
When almost done, crumble cheese and butter into grits.
Blend eggs and milk together.
Then mix egg/milk mixture with grits.
Pour into greased casserole and bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes, uncovered.
Sprinkle with grated cheese and bake, uncovered, 15 minutes longer or until cheese is melted.
