Chocolate Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 pie crust shell, baked
1/2 c. granulated sugar
1/4 c. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
3 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 can evaporated milk
3 egg yolks, beaten
1 c. dairy sour cream
1 Tbsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla extract
2 pkg. cocoa blend
1 (8 oz.) container whipped topping
Preparation

Preheat oven and baking sheet to 400\u00b0.
In a medium bowl, combine sugar, brown sugar, salt and cornstarch; mix well.
In a heavy saucepan on medium heat, cook and stir sugar mixture and milk until mixture thickens and begins to boil.
Gradually stir 1/4 of hot mixture into beaten egg yolks; add back to remaining hot mixture, stirring constantly.
Stir in sour cream and butter; continue to cook until mixture thickens.
Remove from heat.
Stir in vanilla, mixing well.
Stir in chocolate until blended.
Pour mixture into pie crust.
Refrigerate about 2 hours before serving. Serves 6.
