Texas Potato Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. frozen hash brown potatoes
    1 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper
    1 can cream of chicken, celery or mushroom soup
    10 oz. grated sharp Cheddar cheese
    1/2 c. melted butter
    1 pt. sour cream
    1/2 c. finely chopped onion
    2 c. crushed corn flakes
    1/4 c. melted butter
Preparation
    Cover potato mixture with crumb mixture.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes (less time if potatoes are thawed).
