Scalloped Cabbage - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium head cabbage
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1 1/2 to 2 Tbsp. flour
    1 c. milk
    2 Tbsp. chopped onion
    2 Tbsp. chopped seeded green pepper
    1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    1/2 c. bread crumbs
    1 c. or less grated cheese
Preparation
    Chop
    and
    cook
    the
    cabbage
    just until crisp-tender; drain. To prepare cream sauce, melt margarine.
    Stir in flour until smooth and add
    milk.
    Cook
    over
    medium
    heat and stir until thick. Saute green pepper and onion in oil until tender. Place layer of cabbage
    in
    a
    lightly
    greased
    baking
    dish. Sprinkle with sauteed
    onion,
    pepper and grated cheese. Cover with cream sauce and bread crumbs.
    Bake about 10 minutes in a 350\u00b0 oven.
