Meringue - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 egg whites
    1/3 c. sugar
    dash salt
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. cold water
    1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
Preparation
    Beat egg whites gradually adding sugar and cream of tartar, until stiff but not dry.
    Add vanilla and water and stir.
    Put on a cooled pie filling of your choice.
    Cook in preheated oven for approximately 10 minutes at 350\u00b0.
