Scottish Timesavers - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. flour
1 1/2 c. quick cooking rolled oats
1 1/2 c. Raisin Bran flakes
2/3 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1/4 c. toasted sesame seed
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 c. shortening
1/4 c. water
Preparation

Measure all ingredients into large bowl.
Mix at low speed of mixer until a dough forms.
Using well floured rolling pin or well floured fingers, roll or pat out dough, half at a time on ungreased cookie sheet to a 12 x 8-inch rectangle.
Cut into 2-inch squares. Do not separate.
Sprinkle with sugar.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 to 20 minutes until golden brown.
Immediately cut into squares along lines.
Cool 2 minutes; remove from cookie sheets.
