Sausage Strata - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. herb croutons
    2 c. shredded Cheddar sharp cheese
    2 lb. regular sausage
    1 can mushroom soup
    4 eggs
    2 1/2 c. milk
    3/4 tsp. dry mustard
    1 small can mushroom buttons
Preparation
    Put croutons in a greased 8 x 12-inch pan; top with cheese. Cook sausage in skillet until brown.
    Drain on paper towels. Place sausage over cheese.
