Ingredients

1 lb. chopped meat
1 lb. can tomatoes
1/4 c. bread crumbs
1 small eggplant
5 Tbsp. olive oil
6 to 8 oz. Monterey Jack cheese
pepper and oregano or basil to taste
1 roll crescent rolls
Preparation

Fry chopped meat and drain. Add tomatoes. Saute eggplant in olive oil, then add to meat mixture. Grate cheese. Set aside. Line a 9 x 13-inch pan with crescent rolls. Spread meat mixture on dough. Top with cheese and season to taste.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 25 minutes or until crust is golden.
