Sauerkraut Chocolate Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2/3 c. butter, softened
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    3 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. cocoa
    2 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. soda
    2/3 c. chopped sauerkraut, rinsed and drained
Preparation
    Cream eggs and butter in bowl until light and fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla. Mix well. Sift dry ingredients together. Add to creamed mixture alternately with 1 cup of water, beating well after each addition. Stir in sauerkraut. Pour into 2 greased and floured 8-inch pans. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes. Frost with favorite frosting.
