Magic Apple Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. brown sugar
    1 beaten egg
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. whole wheat pastry flour
    1 c. chopped nut meats
    1 c. chopped apple
Preparation
    Combine sugar and egg.
    Sift together baking powder and flour, then add to sugar mixture.
    Toss together nuts and apple, then add to batter.
